For a position of strategic importance, we are looking for a Project Manager with experience in the aerospace and defence sector, to be involved into the business department of an Italian multinational company, leader in aerospace, defence and security industries and operating in more than 26 countries across the world. Specifically, the resource will be involved in defence and/or space programs, and will be responsible for project management activities, carrying out the main following activities: • Program Management activities. • Preparation and coordination of meetings, reviews, workshops. • Interface with the Customer and external / internal stakeholders. • Coordination of internal resources, external suppliers, etc. • Cost estimation: definition and management of project related economics. • Risk Management: identification and management of project risks. • Measuring of project performance. • Preparation of internal and external project reporting. • Preparation of proposals for new acquisitions (documents, estimation, GANTT charts, etc.). Main requirements: • Master's degree in scientific disciplines. • Previous experience in Program / Project Management activities in the aerospace & defence business. • Experience in risk management activities. • Experience in planning activities, preventing critical issues, defining workaround solutions. • Personal good attitude to team building, coordination, and conflict resolution. • Personal skills: problem solving, communication, negotiation, flexibility. • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Nice to have: • Experience in international agencies programs / missions (such as ESA, ASI, EDA, etc.) • Knowledge of laser technology. The place of work will be in LAZIO, Italy.
