We are looking for a resource with experience in project management activities, to join our team as Project Planning Engineer. Specifically, the resource will be involved in several complex Space Programs (mainly scientific missions of international space agencies such as ESA, NASA, ASI, etc.), supporting the relevant Project Managers, and will be responsible for planning, monitoring and management activities, ensuring that project objectives in terms of schedule, quality and budget are successfully achieved. Main responsibilities: •Create and maintain the baseline project schedule, setting timing and prioritization of activities in collaboration with project managers and other business functions. •Establish and document the project objectives, and deliverables. •Track and report the status of project activities, including financial aspects. •Review and update the project plan to keep reflecting current status and future projections on an ongoing basis. •Prepare detailed reports for internal functions and external clients, highlighting progress, risks and any deviations from the plan. •Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). •Support risk management activities by estimating project risks and issues with the project team and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks. •Ensuring that all project deliverables fulfill quality standards. Main requirements: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Aerospace Engineering or a related field. •Knowledge of Project Management approaches and methodologies. •Proficiency in MS Office tools. •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work effectively in a business environment. •Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. •Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2). Nice to have: •Knowledge of the following tools will be considered a plus: MS Project, Primavera, SAP The workplace will be in TUSCANY.
