We are looking for a resource with experience in mechanical engineering activities, to join our team as Mechanical Design Engineer. Specifically, the resource will be responsible for the mechanical, concept and detailed design, as well as the executive design and documentation management for the optoelectronic measurement systems of the whole railway infrastructure. Main responsibilities: • Design and development of optoelectronic systems; design of assemblies and sub-parts of precision systems with electromechanical, pneumatic, optical, and thermal machine elements; • Design of carpentry, welded or assembled, in light alloys or steel; • Interfacing with other company figures (Production, Assembly, Maintenance, Purchasing); • Interfacing with suppliers. Main requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering such as: Mechanical, Aeronautics, Automation; • Good knowledge of 3D CAD modeling application PTC Creo Parametric. • Good knowledge of PLM application. PTC Windchill preferred. • Previous experience in engineering, especially in the areas of: industrial automation, machine tools, measuring equipment, optical systems. • Good knowledge of the English language. • Knowledge of Office package applications. • Good knowledge of technical drawing, dimensioning and representations according to Standards: UNI EN ISO 128, 5456, 8015. • Good knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerances according to Standards UNI EN ISO 22768 and 13920 and their use. • Aptitude for teamwork.
